Global Twestival initiators and Local Lafayette Twestival organizers are currently in the process of approving the most voted local charity to receive all donations during the local Twestival 10-13 September.
Voting results on August 28th, 12:00pm:
1. United Way of Greater Lafayette – 1,196 votes
2. Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross – 477 votes
3. Wildcat Wildlife Center – 458 votes

United Way of Greater Lafayette
Your local United Way is the largest supporter of health and human service agencies in Tippecanoe County. UWGL helps to fund 23 local agencies with a focus on Basic Needs and Financial Stability, Children and Families and Health and Wellness initiatives. From disasters and trauma to diseases and disabilities, programs supported by United Way are improving lives everyday.

Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross
The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. The local chapter also teaches CPR, lifeguarding and other life-saving skills, provides free transportation for out-of-town medical appointments, and coordinates Christmas For Everyone which provides gifts for over 2,000 children every year.

Wildcat Wildlife Center is a wildlife rehabilitation center with state and federal permits to accept injured, orphaned and diseased native and migratory wildlife. They also present education programs about conservation and wildlife to local schools, churches, scout groups and other civic organizations.

Almost Home Humane Society
The Almost Home Humane Society (formerly known as the Tippecanoe County Humane Society) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Lafayette, IN. On August 11, 1939, a group of citizens started the Tippecanoe County Humane Association to address the animal welfare situation in the Lafayette area.
